JOSH TODD & THE CONFLICT has recently released a killer music video titled, ‘Year Of The Tiger‘ from their upcoming debut album, “Year Of The Tiger“, due out September 15 on Century Media Records, which features members from BUCKCHERRY(California). Chris Cuffaro who has also previously shared his work with PEARL JAM, GEORGE MICHAEL responsible for the direction of this video.

Speaking about the first single and title track, Josh says,
“The album’s title track, ‘Year Of The Tiger’, was one of the first songs we wrote for the record and also became one of my favorite songs I have ever written. Like most good songs, it came together very quickly. As soon as Stevie sent me the music, the lyrics and melodies poured out of me.“

He further adds, “I’m a huge fan of ‘Hannibal’ and the show ‘Narcos’, while also being into the big cats. In ‘Hannibal’, they had a character that would feed despicable people to his pigs and I thought that was pretty demented and interesting. Also, I am always fascinated with people that have the balls to choose a life of crime, so this track is about a guy living on the edge with a manhunt going on for his life ending in death by tigers.“ Continue reading →

Also joining in the line up is sludge metal band from New Orleans, CROWBAR, fellow thrash metal young guns HAVOK, technical thrash metal band BLACK FAST and the recently formed INVIDIA, comprising of IN THIS MOMENT and Ex-FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH members. Now he is back with another killer announcement, he is all set to make a comeback for a headlining tour in support of his new album in The United States this coming August. Holy fuck! DYING FETUS has time and again upped their ante with every thing they do. In this new music video, ‘Die With Integrity’, they have just shown how brutal and unforgiving they can be. The music video is directed by Mitch Massie who has previously also worked with CATTLE DECAPITATION‘s equally gory and sadistic music video, ‘Forced Gender Reassignment‘, along with WHITECHAPEL and JOHN FRUM. If you have an acute aversion towards gore you better not go through this. This music video is extremely brutal, gory and vile!

ALICE COOPER, the king of Shock Rock has been doing rounds with the news of his upcoming new album and last month’s one off reunion show. We have some one more massive and exciting news coming your way this time. Now, Alice announces that the three members of the original ALICE COOPER band, bassist Dennis Dunaway, guitarist Michael Bruce and drummer Neal Smith will join him in the UK for a five date autumn tour. 

Last month saw Alice’s performance in Nashville joined by the three original members for a five song mini set, also accompanied by current band members – drummer Glen Sobel, bassist Chuck Garric, and guitarists Nita Strauss and Tommy Henriksen. ALICE COOPER also announced that his new album, ‘Paranormal‘, will be out on July 28th on earMUSIC, featuring the original members on two songs. REVIEW: CELLAR DARLING – “This Is The Sound” [Official Videos]

New born trio CELLAR DARLING is a new found force in the folk rock/metal category already creating major ripples on the scene with their debut masterpiece, ‘This Is The Sound‘. After pulling the plug on their previous band ELUVEITIE almost a year ago, the Swiss trio of Ivo Henzi, Anna Murphy and Merlin Sutter quickly huddled together to form CELLAR DARLING, with a goal of driving themselves in a new direction as they wanted to try out something new and different from what they were already doing. Fast forward a year, and here we are with their debut release titled, ‘This Is The Sound‘, arguably one of the best albums already this year.
